The use of iThenticate, TURNITIN, and "İntihal. net" similarity detection tools, which are accessible to all universities with the coordination of the TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM EKUAL Agreement and ANKOS, will continue in 2023.
To use the systems, academic staff who meet the following conditions must send their requests to the e-mail address (
kutuphane@gelisim.edu.tr) via their corporate e-mail account. An account will be created for them in a short time and an automatic message will be sent to them to create a password. User guides are attached.
* Academic staff without a Ph.D. can also use the TURNITIN tool for article review.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The iThenticate similarity tool should not be used for these. TURNITIN similarity check tool should be used in thesis checks. Students use TURNITIN and "intihal.net" in different ways. Our students can use TURNITIN or "intihal.net" through their advisors. Our instructors can create a class for the students, share the ID and password information of that class with them, and enable them to upload their files to the system. Afterward, similarities in the classroom and on the Internet will be reported to the counselor.
